DDA Access to Public Transport

Timeframe:Ongoing

Cost:$150 million

Project description

Our aim is to make public transport accessible for everyone- from older Victorians to parents travelling with children, to people with disabilities.

Funding allocated under the Victoria Transport Plan will allow us to continue improving access across the network. Better infrastructure will include ramps, signage, toilets and lighting.

Project benefits
  • Improved access across the public transport network, such as ramps, paving and tactile tiles, to complement new low floor trams and buses.
