How to use the Copy function ?
The Copy function enables the user the copy tables of data into Microsoft Excel for further manipulation. To copy existing data tables or tables generated from the ‘Compare’ function use the following steps:
Select ‘Copy’.
A dialog box will appear telling you that the content has been pasted to the clipboard. Click ‘ok’.
Open Microsoft Excel.
Go to ‘Edit’ and
Click on ‘Paste’.
What are Topic anchor links ?
Topic anchor links list the main datasets on the summary page. By selecting any of the topic anchor links, you will be able to navigate between various data tables on the page.
Note:
A summary page is generated by selecting a geographic area and information type from the Know Your Area home page. The summary page contains datasets based on the options you have selected.
What is the Compare function used for?
The Compare function enables the user to generate a customised report. To generate a specific report use the following steps:
Select the geography type you wish to use.
Select the geographies you wish to use.
You can select multiple geographies by holding the Control (Ctrl) key while selecting the geographies with the mouse.
Select the data type you wish to use.
Select the years (select multiple years using the same method used to select multiple geographies).
Select the 'Show report' button
