Daytime train services on the Werribee line have doubled in frequency as of Monday 20 July 2009. Werribee line passengers benefited from 225 new weekly services, as part of 290 new and extended weekly services introduced on the metropolitan rail network. New and extended services were also introduced on the Craigieburn, Dandenong and Frankston lines.
