Victorian Local Roads: Critical links in the national supply chain
The Victorian Government and Municipal Association of Victoria have developed the
Victoria's Local Roads: critical links in the national supply chain document to seek greater Commonwealth funding for local road maintenance and upgrades.
The document highlights the vital role local roads play in supporting the state and national economies by providing critical links for the agriculture, timber, resources, manufacturing and tourism industries.
It will be submitted to Infrastructure Australia to encourage the Commonwealth Government to establish a new funding program that reflects the value of Victoria's local roads to the Australian economy.
